Short version: Punt is an app for remembering wine. Use it for that. It is offered as it is, it will change, and it is not a substitute for your own judgement about what you drink.
Using Punt
You may use Punt for your own personal wine journal. Do not try to break it, resell it, or take it apart to build a copy of it.
What you write is yours
Your bottles, your words, your reactions: yours. They stay on your device and we claim no ownership of them and no licence to them.
What Punt tells you is a reading, not a fact
Punt reads labels, transcribes what you say, and suggests patterns from your own history. All of it can be wrong, and all of it is correctable. Identification in particular is a best guess from a photograph. Check the bottle before you buy on Punt's say-so.
Drinking
Punt is for people of legal drinking age. It does not encourage you to drink more, it has no streaks or rewards, and it takes no view on how much anyone should drink. That is between you and your own good sense.
No warranty, and the limits of our liability
Punt is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from using it, including loss of the data on your device. Because nothing is synced, keeping a copy of anything precious is on you, and the app has an export for exactly that.
Changes
These terms will change as the app does. Material changes will be dated here.
